Hi! Thank you for letting me share a little about myself. I’m so happy you’re here.

I was born in London and raised in New York City (I have two passports!). I was named after Sloane Peterson in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off which I love. I am Jewish and Filipino and have really enjoyed learning to embrace my intersectional identity. Growing up in a biracial household, I am grateful to be defined by different customs and beautifully distinct cultures. My full name provides a bit of context and grounding for me, given my mixed background: Sloane (“warrior”) Lola (Tagalog for “grandmother” - I’m named after my maternal grandmother) Kaleiauli’i (Hawaiian for “delicate flower”), and Ptashek (Polish for “little bird”). I feel the same way about the different aspects of my life, not limiting myself to just one path, but many. My name is just a small reflection of who I am.

Since first grade, I have been obsessed with musical theatre, and I am so excited to be receiving my Bachelors in Fine Arts in Music Theatre from University of California, Irvine. I will graduate in June and I cannot wait to get out into the world!

In my spare time, I love learning about art history, going to museums, doing workout classes, discovering new food, traveling, and spending time with friends. I have two dogs named Mike and Sully. My favorite color is purple (clearly), my favorite musicals are Ragtime and Songs for a New World, and my favorite food is chocolate soft serve with rainbow sprinkles in a cone.
